Arguably pantera's best material was Cowboys & Vulgar... at least that's what got them the most exposure. the name on the liner is "Diamond Darrell". Dimebag came on the scene post VDoP, which I agree w/ Zane, was some lame sell out crap. So they went from glam, to mimicking Exhorder, then off to some hardcore type shit. As W would say "nobody likes a flip flopper"... (I can't believe I'm quoting W). One of the best concerts I every went to was panter & Wrathchild America @ Centerstage (Earthlink live) - cowboys tour. very fun show. but still, fuck pantera.

Metal Church rules.
no offense to exhorder, but they weren't a very good band. i've listened to them for a long time and i'm not saying that all their stuff sucked, but honestly.......they were half the band pantera was. i've heard countless live recordings of exhorder and they were never tight live. nothing but a recording band. and pantera was one of the best live metal acts ever.

i must retract my statements about exhorder's live recordings sucking........for some reason i got them mixed up with cancer last night. i've actually never heard them live, but i still don't think that pantera ripped them off by any means. some similarities but there are similarities b/w most metal bands.

we do not need a man in power that has opposition to pantera that cannot change his mind once faced with the truth!
