I heard about that!!! Apparently the beginning and ending of How Could I have been changed. I read that the ending no longer fades out, so you can hear those solos in the complete glory! That's one of my favorite parts of the album and I always thought was a shame they faded out on them. I must hear this.post wrote:The new Cynic rerelease is very good it has three bonus tracks and 3 remixes.
currently for me its nothing but morbid angel
altars of madness, blessed are the sick, covenant, and domination.
but i would like to hear the at cynic, i never really got into the robot vocals on focus, but ive always loved the cynic demos, and still enjoyed how amazing and relaxing the music is on focus.

I picked up the new cynic at media. There are three remixes of orginal tracks with a clearer sound and one guitar solo goes until they all get tired and start doing there own thing. The remixes are very clean and dont quote me on this but I think there are alternate solos, and fills being used. Also the hidden track is without vocals I think its track 2 off the original. I think everyone should try to pick it up you wont be dissapointed.
Golem - Dreamweaver
Fragments Of Unbecoming - Skywards: A Sylph's Ascension
Green Carnation - The Quiet Offspring
Pelican - Australasia
Brutal Truth - Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses
...and dammit, I found a copy of Necrophagist - Epitaph at media play the other day but it won't load up in any of my cd players for some reason. It either loads up as one silent track that's 37:50 long or doesn't load at all.

Yeah the first time I bought it It did that to me also, I think Relapse sent out a shipment of bad CD's. There is something about it on the Necrophagist homepage and forum, check it out for more info, www.necrophagist.deGreg wrote:Golem - Dreamweaver

Before Focus was released (the first time), they had a song, Uroboric Forms, on a Roadrunner compilation At Death's Door 2, and it was fucking awesome, and WITHOUT the robot vocals. So when Focus came out, my friends and I were salivating over it hurrying to get it into the CD player, and the robot vocals kicked in, and we all just looked at each other in utter shock. I didn't listen to it for about a month or 2 after that, and the robot vocals grew on me and I recognized the album for the fucking masterpiece it is.Matt wrote:but i would like to hear the at cynic, i never really got into the robot vocals on focus, but ive always loved the cynic demos, and still enjoyed how amazing and relaxing the music is on focus.
How is the re-recorded Crown cd? Are the vocals better or worse?ratanda wrote:I've been checking out the latest ones from Rapture, Ingrowing, Audio Kollaps, Ghoul, that re-recorded Crown CD with the original singer on vocals, and some others.
I saw a special edition of it the other day that came with a live audio dvd and thought about picking it up.
