I love black people who love metal.
They're relatively few and far-between, and I've spoken to many who told me that they've faced criticism and being ostracized by other blacks for not "going with the flow."

OK, so I had to get a replacement tire for my kid's stroller the other day. Went to the bike shop in L5 and Edgy from Burning Witch sold me roller.

i went to home depot a little while back to get some pinestraw and had to wait for the dude to come unlock the trailers. i see the kid walking up...typical black dude: baggy jeans, slightly oversized shirt, diamond earings, flat brim cap etc. So he unlocks the trailer and we both walk in to grab some bails and he looks up at my hat and goes...

"Is that a Zoroaster hat?"

Me: "yea man"

"Awesome, I'm going to that album release show"

Me: "No shit? You like metal?"

"Yea man, I love that shit."
