It's a different flavor of the whole doom thing than what I normally really like, but I've played it a lot lately and finally starting to warm up to it.
yeah, it's def a grower. when i first got it i listened to it maybe once or twice and put it aside. then one day just decided to give it another listen and really enjoyed it

Rotting Christ - AEAIO (thanks again to Steve Cannon. Why doesn't he have an account here?)

Borknagar - Empiricism (because the new one kind of sucks and I needed to remember Vintersorg has at least one good album with them)

Absu - Tara (because it had been too long)

Carpathian Forest - Black Shining Leather (rules)

In Lingua Mortua

Just discovered this band. Organ/key heavy epic black metal. I love that shit so I've been enjoying it thoroughly.

It's nice driving-to-work music. Though it could be part of the reason I'm about to go Falling Down on this joint and start tipping shit over.

Also you need to come back up here. I ain't seen you in forever.

Michael Douglas listening to Sargeist would have ruled so much, hahahah! I do need to get up there, I really miss the place and all the people I met. Went to FYE and they had a 30% off used and 20% off new CD's, woohoo!
DEATH BREATH: Stinking Up The Night
KINGDOM OF SORROW: Behind The Blackest Tears
CRADLE OF FILTH: Lovecraft & Witch Hearts
DEVILDRIVER: Pray For Villains
DEFTONES: Saturday Night Wrist
CANDLEMASS: Ancient Dreams (Quite a find with this one and shocked to see it in the bin)
all for about 48 bucks!

I've been obsessed with band for a good year. Just how punk and metal should sound when mixed up.
This thing is a wall of bass. Thanks for the recommend!
