Good job forgetting the whole THE CAR IS IN TEXAS part of the discussion, you fucking herb.
So if I told you the name of the track in SAN ANGELO, you would have known it?
Right.

& yeah, they do let anyone on the track.
It's open every other weekend especially for people to bring their cars to do the 1/4 mile.
I guess you sure told me.

It's fucked up that he's stationed somewhere fulfilling his contract with the government and he has the car because he lives in a smaller area and needs it more than I do? Right.

& the car has already been taken to the track. I can get the numbers he ran for you as well. We're going with the APR chip instead of the Revo chip. It's more expensive, but the guy near him who does the Revo chips was giving him the run-around and doesn't really have the equipment to do the car since it's such a new model. The guys that do the APR chips in San Antonio told him that if we do have to get upgrades from VW at any time and lose the information, that we can just bring it back down to put it back on for free.

& I don't need to address the last part. My husband isn't a scheming, white trash scumbag like you and the people you know.

I already said 1/4 mile.
This is it:
http://sanangelodragway.com/

& yeah, I am involved.
I am the one that bought the sidemarkers and I am the one who's putting them in.
We are BOTH buying the chip and the clear bra and both are getting installed when I am there next week.

& I already said that we can't get the wheels for a while because the chip and clear bra are more important to us right now and both are $500-600. This is the chip, by the way: http://goapr.com/VW/products/ecu_upgrade_mkvgti.html

The only thing that I've mentioned that I haven't done myself or haven't had a part in so far is going to the track - which I actually won't for a while, because it's not open next week when I'm there. It sucks, but it's not always open to the public, so oh well.

It even handles pretty damn well at rather fast speeds. It?s no VW but it?s also fun to drive. I personally don?t really care much for a lot of American made cars but this one isn?t that bad. Unfortunately it?s rather pricey too.
Like I said before, I don't know much about anything that isn't European.
It's a pretty handsome looking car, though, man.
If you got the scrill I say go for it.

Oh, I forgot about the time.
15.04s on 1/4 mile & the chip should take another second off of that.

Instead of talkign shit, why not have a civil discussion about it. I've never shit talked another VW driver before and I don't plan to start. We should be "buddies", and not enemies.

So stop being a douche bag, and just be happy that you don't drive a Honda!

Also, it's a 1/4 mile track. Holly posted the numbers some place else.

One more thing. The only way you're keeping up is with a big turbo upgrade. If you get one, let me know. My buddy has a GTI 337 with the APR Stage 3 upgrade and it's insane!

So Holly with all the upgrades and what not your VW will be up to 256hp correct?
To think my car stock which to tell you the truth even though it?s a fucking ford 215hp stock isn?t bad. I think I will do a little bit of research to find out all the different mods I can do to raise it up.

Actually believe it or not a honda SI could more than likely spank the GTI in a 1/4 15sec flat isn't that impressive.

2006 civic si -
# 7.2-second 0-60
# 15.1-second 1/4-mile

2006 vw gti -
# 6.7-second 0-60(DSG, which I have)
# 14.9-second 1/4 mile

Similar numbers, but the GTI wins. Good try, though. Next time look it up on the internet before spouting off! =)

By the way, your avatar rules.

A ford what?

What about torque numbers?

What about power to weight ratio?

I didn't realize this until later, but it's actually going to be the numbers for the 91 Octane for now, since 93 isn't available in San Angelo.
We've already been assured by the place we're going that when we move away from Texas (I'll be living there after I graduate and until his AF contract runs out), we'll be able to exchange the software for the 93 Octane.

Hey Holly, how does that 2.0T sound when you get it up to about 6,000 RPM's? That is if you have had a chance to get it that high yet. Just wondering because my VR6 sounds so fucking brutal is is insane! Just curious if it sounds kinda ricey being a 4 cylinder or if it has a deeper tone? Hey, you should record some video at the track and post that shit, I would love to see that! If you need somewhere to host it email me and I will put it up on ATLmetal.com hosting for you.

I'll look into video, man!

It's a turbo, so you hear it spool especially at high rpms. Not ricey at all.

I DO miss my VR6's sound, though.
