I've never been there

Is that where Samael is going to be in a few months? Would love to see them but I don't like going alone

It was still being callled "The Excelsior Mill" & I first saw Danzig's very first show w/ his solo band! I even remember the opening bands too! The first was an excellent local old skool skater punk called "Dead Elvis" & the other band was some band called The Goats! There was also another show going on the same night @ The Omni, it was Ozzy w/ Anthrax opening!
this was in december btw! But yeah, that was my first masquerade show! I think I just showed my age just now!!!
gawd you're old! yeah the only other person that I know of who has been there before it was called The Masquerade is Denney.

Back in 2004 I think it was, Hypocrisy (The Arrival), Children of Bodom (pre-Are you dead yet?), and Dimmu Borgir (Death Cult Armageddon) I actually think it was Dimmu's DCA tour. Great show......Not only was it my first time at the Masquerade, it was my first metal show!!!!

I was at that one too. I think that was the night I left right after Dimmu's set and drove to a mostly hurricane evacuated Tampa to go to Ozzfest the next day. Sleep deprivation + driving in a storm = good times!
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

I think that was the show where I was front-row center and getting pretty well squished for my trouble. Oh, well, got some pretty good pics, though!

Haha, Jim and I were at both of those shows that night, too! Remember all the OGS and Cowskins in the parking lot making life hell for everyone else around? Good times!

I'm not sure if that was my very first time at Masquerade or not. We used to go see local bands when it was Excelsior Mill and kids would set up card tables to collect money outside the rooms. Movie nights were rad and so was my Western Union fake ID that bought huge rounds of pitchers for everyone who went with us. It was a good time to be 16.

Mine is relatively late. I can't be sure, but I think it might have been Kreator/Napalm Death three years ago.

I also caught a lightly attended show by Prong around the same time, but I don't remember when that was and the Internet cannot tell me.
