My 49 year old aunt just texted me this:

"Have you heard of a band...six feet under?"

EDIT:

This is what she was referring to. She saw this commercial:

Stupid question: What are the orange things inside his rims? Are they wheel locks? I hope if I paid a gajillion dollars for a new boxter I wouldn't have to drive around with orange shit in the rims.

They call those orange things "brakes". I understand that they are optional on the Boxster.

Good lord, what the hell happened to Chris Barnes!?! He looks like a clean shaven Tommy Chong with a severe case of the AIDS.

How the hell does he have a career in music? Last album of theirs I bought was some double CD package deal thing with "13" and "Graveyard Classics (Back In Black full cover album)", and it all sounded worse than any garage band I've ever heard. Drum tracks sounded kinda out of sync. Vocal tracks sounded like they did one take of each song and then said, "Meh, fuck it, that's good enough."

Does Six Feet Under really sell enough to buy imported sports cars?

Don't they pretty much only put out covers albums nowadays resulting in only making mechanical royalties and kicking back the majority of the revenue to the original songwriters?

Hmm....

It's a Porsche boxster, one of the cheapest models they make. Looks like a USED car lot judging from the cheesy phrase above the door ("Where dreams come true"). Any actual Porsche dealership is going to look MUCH nicer on the outside. Being that it's obviously used, I'd estimate the price tag anywhere from 7k to 9k. Hell, that dopehead probably isn't paying cash for it either, he's probably financing it for 4 or 5 years. He ain't about to give up smoking half an ounce of grass a day for a few weeks just to have no car payments coming in the mailbox.

Dunno exactly why Cannibal Corpse kicked his ass to the curb years ago, but I suspect it had a lot to do with his overwhelming desire to be a useless stoner while they were all working their asses off to get somewhere in life and in the music business.

I'm not knocking dope, I love smoking a fat bowl as much as the next guy, but it isn't the most important thing I ever hope to do all day like that jackass.

yeah well i mean look at him now and look at them now. He's retarded and Six Feet Under is one of the worst bands that ever existed, and they're still tearin it up. i think you've made a pretty fair guess

I dunno, apparently he's got enough fans buying his shit that he doesn't have a "real" job anymore, at least as far as I know. He's got his own success I suppose. He probably just sits around smoking dope, waiting on the dope man to come bring him another batch of dope, and occasionally goes over to his computer to record some song ideas between snacks and shits and the rare groupie blowjob. I was a slight fan of his for a while. Went to see Six Feet Under probably back in 02 or 03. I wouldn't pay to go see him anymore, that's for sure.
