Yeah -- in all fairness, you didn't mention the pinch harmonics, V-GER. Because, everytime you turn around, there are pinch harmonics on this album. The pinch harmonics are overdone. Did I mention that there pinch harmonics?

The thing is, they aren't good, like on the first album.

Shit..."she" didn't pay a dime for it. I know better than risking a dime on the lil' fella nowadays. I happily steal from soulseek in the interest of trying it before buying it.

And, oh yeah, pinch harmonics!

Mine is on its way. I've been listening to "Beyond the Apocalypse" for two weeks on constant rotation in an unhealthy fashion, so it needs to hurry. You like it? What's the verdict?
I like it. It’s a slower album that I expected. It’s better than Revelations of the Black, but it’s really not that much different from it. The production is pretty similar and as you’ve probably guessed by the song titles, it also has the same ambient interludes between songs – not a down point for me. It’s great music to work to. I’ve been listening to it for hours at work everyday since I got it. Downside – the drums are too muted. Let me know what you think about it when you get it.

"Beyond the Apocalypse" IS kick ass.
I'm a little behind times -- I just picked this up. 13 songs? 49:00 minutes? Hmmm...

Don't worry, half of them are "interludes." Another shuffle momentum destroyer. I'm in the shower going, "WTF was...oh. Right."

A. Oh, no worries -- I knew about the interludes. I'm just saying that they're cheeky bastards.

2. You listen to 1349 in the fucking shower? You are more metal than I am, D.

Headhunter, nice. Now rock some Metal Rendez-Vous!

It's been a slow few days. Just some usual suspects and the Brian Jonestown Massacre's Their Satanic Majesty's Second Request. Love that shit.

This is true. My shower cd player broke like 2 years ago though...it sucks. I need to get a new one but I always forget.

I dig shit like 1349 for sleep music. There's a hypnotic quality to the drums and guitars that I find to be very relaxing.
