Midnight - Berlin is Burning
Bunch of gnarly sounding demo shit. Dig it, but not particularly necessary if you have Farewell to Hell. Still, if you love Midnight like I do, well, you know you want it, just because. Even if you already have the pic disc version...I'm just not a big fan of pic discs. There is just something kinda ghey about them to me. Dunno why...
Children of Technology - Time to Face the Doomsday
Motorcharged!!!
Death with a Dagger - Dark Alleys
Love this record and can't stop listening to it.
Grateful Dead - American Beauty
Yep, that's right. I'm not embarressed
Einsturzende Neubauten - Strategies Against Architecture
Anyone else down?

yea i saw a promo deal for it and thought the whole package looked very nice. wish i coulda made it down and picked one up. they are a really good band and the fact that their influences span such a wide birth in each song, much less record, really is a testament to that. i've been listening to the demo they put out a while back a lot since i booked them and it kinda blows me away how they can go from black metal to pantera-esque groove to crusty punk to motorhead to thrash to progressive all in one song and it be cohesive and have a unifying sound and vibe throughout. with the right backing (or even without it) i think they have a bright future ahead of them.MS_39455 wrote:I did. Sounds great. For a band that's so all over the place musically, the album has real continuity. Real solid. Looks great too. Gold/brown translucent vinyl, lyric sheet, etc.Ryan wrote:did you get the LP at the show?MS_39455 wrote: Inter Arma - Sundown
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.

Enjoying this one right now.Knucklehead wrote:Urgehal -- The Eternal Eclipse. Holy shit. I simply didn't know.
So last night I dreamed that Tommy got a haircut and I told him it looked good because I'm a polite lady but really it was terrible. ScreamBloodyGore and Voegtlin were there too, but I've never met Voegtlin in real life so he was just kind of lurking in the peripheral and sort of looked like Jayne from Firefly.
Two morals here:
1. Tommy, don't ever cut your hair; and
2. I need to maybe take a break from this forum.

Or maybe, you know, meet people in real life. Or something.Diana wrote:Enjoying this one right now.Knucklehead wrote:Urgehal -- The Eternal Eclipse. Holy shit. I simply didn't know.

Wolves in the Throne Room -- Two Hunters. Actually, just the track "I Will Lay Down My Bones among the Rocks and Roots." Twice, while going up to Sandy Springs to pick up the dog.
