Nice, my all time favorite band. If you haven't heard Waiting on the Night grab a copy. It's a tight, heavy rock album that's ocassionally referred to as metal, but to me it's just hard rock the way it was meant to be done.

Bonded by Blood - Exiled to Earth LP
I'm digging the shit outta this album. It's probably best in the instrumental sections. The vocalist isn't bad. He's quirky in that Zetro/Bobby Blitz kinda way which I dig, but he's just mixed way too high for my taste.

Ryan, maybe check out some MP3s of this record. It's worth a listen. It may not sell you on them, but I'd be surprised if you didn't dig the riffing.

Been a while since I've really posted in here. Soooo....

Evil Survives - Powerkiller
Rifftastic, trad metal that is very fucking solid. Dude's vocals may or may not be a distraction, but they aren't mixed super high and they are fairly sparse in comparison to the riffing. And it is riffing, not techy geekery. Good if you dig the old 80s sound.

Darkthrone - Goatlord

Blood of the Sun - In Blood We Rock
Bluesy, stonery, organ driven rock. I'm not huge on this genre, but I dig this album.

Enforcer - Diamonds
Similar in style to Evil Survives but of much lesser quality. Still, it's good shit.

Hammered USA
Dirty, thrashy metal. The name pretty much says it all. I need to play this more.

Bonded in Blood - Exiled to Earth
Again, the name says about all you need to know. If you are OK with thrash revival and don't mind quirky vox of the Zetro/Bobby Blitz variety this is defo worth a listen.

D.I.S. - Critical Failure
US "supergroup" playing D-Beat. Wish it was a bit more straight forward.

Marduk - Panzer Division Marduk
Yeah...

Razormaze - The True Sound of Steel
Thrash revival as it should be done. Big thanks to Zach for turning me onto them early.

Blood Red Throne - Souls of Damnation
Black Metal....

G.A.T.E.S - everything I can find to DL, because it's mad expensive to buy.
Amazing Japanese Motorheadish, punk, stoner rock? Fuck, I dunno, it's just baaadaaaasssss.

Disfear - Live the Storm
One of the single best albums of the last year.

Exodus - Fabulous Disaster and Pleasures of the Flesh

Unity - Blood Days
How did I never hear this super catchy straight edge rock before? I love this record, but judging by the band name and back jacket photo they are probably a punch line to numerous jokes.

Mongo Ninja - No Cunt for Old Men and ...And the Wrist is History
Norwegian black n' roll supergroup. Fucking HUGE sound mix and fast catchy songs. Very solid.

Fleetwood Mac - Bare Trees, Mystery to Me, Rumous and S/T
'Nuff said

Both great CDs and Winterfylleth is a great band too. I have The Ghost of Heritage that came out before The Mercian Sphere. My favorite thing is how they are singing about Anglo-Saxon Heritage which is surprisingly rare to find even with the whole viking trend going on right now.

Attomica - Limits of Insanity
Coroner - Grin
Deathrow - Raging Steel
Diamond Head - Lightning to the Nations
Exhorder - The Law
Forteresse - Métal Noir Québécois (no they are not NSBM!)
Goreaphobia - Mortal Repulsion
Inquisition - Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan
Master - Four More Years of Terror (great CD title)
Merciless - Unbound
N.W.A. - 100 Miles and Runnin'
Nirvana 2002 - Recordings 89-91 (Even though it is a terrible band name they fucking ripped at MDF if you love Swedish death metal this is a must!)
A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step
Rompeprop - Mentstrual Stomphulk
Soundgarden - SatanoscillatemymetallicsonataS (SOMMS)

Dude check out the new album. I was never a fan before but their new one blows the first one out of the water. If you need a link, let me know.

i'll give it a shot. on the topic of future themed concept albums i hear the sword's new one is really good. a lot of people hate on em but solid riffs do a good album make.

Dead Congregation - Graves and Purifying
-awesome band, really glad i finally checked them out.

Repugnant - Epitome of Darkness
- just ok imo. Some good to great parts but overall not really cutting the mustard so to speak. Another Vision is easily my favorite song on the record aside from the maiden-y part from 3:24 to 4:20..totally unnecessary. Premature Burial is also sick except for that under water effect on the vocals...dumb. How is the rest of their discography?

Zeke - True Crime
- One of my favorite bands ever... but not this album. Aside from a song or two this one and Flat Tracker pale in comparison to the rest of their records up to Death Alley.
