This is how long it took to do my yardwork today:

Satyricon - Age of Nero; Now, Diabolical
Immortal - Damned in Black; Sons of Northern Darkness

Also, fuck yardwork in its fucking neck hole.

HAHA!! I worked Volcano pretty hard when it came out. We had to take some time apart. It's funny to see all those dudes in the video -- they should do one with 4 CGI Satyrs.

I need to absorb all the metal I can in the next 12 hours because I'm not allowed to listen to it for the rest of the weekend. Fuck Christmas.

Yep, released as a box set on Vice. It can be ordered through Interpunk. I HIGHLY recommend it if you dig old So Cal HC. I don't think the 7"s were released individually released, but I could have missed it.

Me, too.

I'm about to send off my usual 'end of year greets' email to Eric Bloom of BOC (I've known him for many years) and I'm gonna ask if he's heard Ghost yet.

(Likely answer: no......because he's been too busy playing WoW :))

Horna - Envaatnags Eflos Solf Esgantaavne

All Hail the Amazon wish list.

Wait - I just noticed this title has no umlauts. Then I looked at the case and none of the song titles have umlauts either. I wonder if this is really Horna. Maybe the umlaut key on the Finnish keyboard snapped off from overuse.

Yeah it does.

I'm at work today too, buddy. And tomorrow. Y'all pour a little out for us.

Of course all of those are fine quality Horna albums. But I had to do an intervention on myself to get Musta Kaipuu out of the CD player in my car when I listened to that shit for like three weeks straight and my mind started to go. Every time I put it in I think "I'll just listen this once. I can quit any time." In fact, I just looked at my ipod and "Piina" is on pause. So I would start there.

Are you making the whole kitchen listen to this playlist? I hope so.

Ryan sent me Ghost - Opus Eponymous, it's pretty rad. On the first listen, may be a grower.
