Lately:

Marduk -- Those of the Unlight
Marduk -- Panzerdivision Marduk
Marduk -- Wormwood
Gorgoroth -- Antichrist
Destroyer 666 -- Violence is the Prince of this World
Destroyer 666 -- Cold Steel ... for an Iron Age
Taake -- Over Bjoergvin Graater Himmerik

Not sure what to make of Violence is the Prince of this World or Over Bjoergvin Graater Himmerik. I can only hear the snare, hi-hat and vocals on the first. The second is plain weird, but not necessarily a good weird, like Necromanzee Cogent, for instance.

I have the Taake s/t and yeah, it's weird. Every once in a while I'll put it on and go, "yep, still weird" and then put it back on the shelf.

Sometimes, it is straight up black metal, and then they'll throw in a folk metal passage, or a heavy metal passage, or a ... numetal ? ... passage. And then there are just plain strange sound effects. I don't quite get it.

I guess it would help if I spoke Norwegian.

Not understanding lyrics is the key to appreciating many bands for me.

Nice one. Did hearing all the resumes in detail prior to OFF! kicking off inspire pulling this one out?

It did, but it's an old favorite of mine. So great! It's been awhile since I've listened to it though - Saw this tour at the Metroplex. Awesome.

I'll dig around and see if I have anything to trade. Purging is a hobby of mine, but I'll take a look. You want an old lamp?

Maybe we should start a Swap Meet thread.

Classic shit. I didn't see that tour, but did catch the show at the Somber in the early 90s. Great - and totally underrated - band.

That Keith Morris giving everyone's resumes shit was just embarressing. Dude is such a tool, but a perfect punk rock singer. I felt bad for the other guys having to stand around look embarressed while he went off on yet another rant. I know he's always that way, but it always annoys the shit outta me. If only they'd turn off his mic in between songs...
