Where at?
Look here is a older highlight with Randleman being knocked down with a left hook that u say he only paws or baits with. And Mezger gets KO'd and Vitor gets knocked down with a right cross/hook,he is in the pocket throwing shots not lunging(although he does that also). He is doing ALOT more than your giving him credit for.I have seen Liddell hurt alot of guys with his left hook and jab,and finish them with a right while he is moving backward or to the side,he's not always lunging forward.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yO_Vv9Ff ... %20liddell
And im not making the same point as you,I am disagreeing with you. There is a difference between 'turning and running' and stepping and counter punching.Tito turned and was running away from Silva.Chuck is NOT running away.
As far as the 'eye poke crap'Couture was the only ligit one that happened during the clinch break, but Liddell was not swinging he was pushing him away.Every one else has used the exuse,Tito got a knuckle in the eye (from a jab) not a finger,Jermey horn had to quit in rnd 4 because he said he wasnt able to see good after the first knockdown but it sure was not from a poke in the eye.Vernon grabs his eye after the last knockdown but you cannot watch that replay and tell me it was a poke,Chuck hits him directly on the right side eye socket with a "right cross."
I have been punched right on my eye socket before and couldnt see shit for about a minute or 2 in that eye. This is what is happening to these guys.
Oh ya,he sure had great hand speed finishing Tito!

first off......you seem to not understand that i like chuck.....i think he is a great fighter! i haven't said anything to take away from that.....i've mentioned some weaknesses yes, but also mentioned his strengths. i'm not being biased here at all. my argument is not to say that chuck sucks in any way.

secondly, the left hook that wabbled randleman was a paw. it just happend to be to the temple. chuck is leaning back and just throws it out. hell, even chuck is surprised that it wobbled randleman. and the right hand that dropped vitor was a fine punch but my point remains....chucks bread and butter is the lunging right straight.

thirdly, he clearly pokes tito in the eye with his thumb. he throws a jab with his fist sideways and thumb flared. its plain to see even in the video link you posted. in the bj penn vs. st. pierre was what it looks like when a fighter gets hit in the eye with a knuckle. penn's fight was flat and on all the reply's you can see his knuckle crash into st. pierre's eye. on the chuck/tito fight you can clearly see the thumb to the eye. and randy was poked......vernon tiger white was just getting beat down. he didn't even know where the hell he was. he will probably sustain brain damage due to the beating chuck put on him. i've never thought that chuck poked him in the eye. and the horn fight was basically the same. i never saw chuck poke him in the eye either. he was just beating his head in.

and, we are arguing the same point with the sidestep. you are just nitpicking my words. i clearly explained that his "running" was a "few" steps to the side to throw the right counter. i even said that he wasn't running scared.

and yet again, his handspeed is not great. its ok. even in the tito fight when he put it on him it wasn't super impressive. it was the fastest we've ever seen his hands fly but it was nothing compared to guys like vitor, baroni or shogun.....you know, guys with GREAT handspeed. tito was reduced to a punching bag and chuck knew it was over so he let it go as fast as he could....as he should've but it wasn't any major speed feat.

i'm not making my remarks in ignorance here. i've seen every one of chucks fights in the UFC and in Pride. i've seen his strengths and his weaknesses for years. to his credit, so has everyone else and not many people have stopped him. his strengths outweigh his weaknesses and i think that he is super talented. he had to take the long road to glory so eventhough the UFC babies him like a newborn now he had to earn his money and fame.

i just don't see him beating silva.

i don't think that wanderlei is the god of MMA or anything either. i think shogun would hand wandy his ass but we'll never know b/c they won't ever fight. and i think that randy would've handed silva his ass three years ago before father time caught up to him. if wandy doesn't have to worry about getting took down, he smashes people.....save vitor when vitor was the best in the world at 200lbs. that was eight years ago.

we still have to see if chuck beats babalu and see if silva can come out of the OWGP without getting injured.

Hey I dont want to argue about it and I understand where your comming from, its just when you say that Chuck doesnt use his reach because he does not jab,or throw anything but a paw/bait hook, and doesnt throw a right cross, when he has used all of these very effectively in every one of his KO's.It just sounds ridiculous to me.
And the whole running away thing just sounds bad no matter how u explain it.I was just setting the record straight.

Randy and Rampage showed the best way to beat Liddell, but considering Wandy has no wrestling/gnp like them it will be very difficult for him.

Ya I sure liked seeing Rampage get KO'd like that in their second fight after all that shit he was talking,he should have stuck to gnp, wrestling and he probrably could have won.

Where are you gonna watch ufc 62 at?

i'm sure that if we were actually talking to each other we'd understand each other much better. and i'm not sure where i'm going to be watching the next few ppv's. i usually watch them at home or at some friends house but i watched this past event at buffalo wild wings and it was a lot of fun despite the lackluster event so i'll probably catch 62 at a bar or something.

i'm really looking forward to the next round of the OWGP but there aren't near as many bars that will be showing a pride event. i might get that at my house if i can get something figured out to where i can get ppv's again.

if my tv is fixed up and i'm able to get the chuck/wandy fight i'll get it at my house and we'll just have a party. cheap beer and fights.

crocop was on a mission! if he keeps fighting like he did during this grand prix i think he'll beat fedor. he has never fought so aggressive before. he was picking wanderlei apart. he even pounded wandy on the ground........crocop never does that.

those two consecutive losses must've pissed him off.
