the "guilty" tag doesn't apply to shit that is regarded as historically and critically awesome, such as floyd, zep, etc.

I wasn't sure if we were going for anything nonmetal here. I'm not guilty/ashamed to listen to any of that or tell folks that I do.

Damn straight, reggae is the shit. Also Ozric Tentacles because of their use of reggae rhythms & riffs -- Paul is the one who turned me & my brother on to those guys. They're nothing but tree-hugging, mushroom-brained, Stonehenge-camper Brits, but just smoke a big fat one and listen to some of that shit, and I swear to god, you'll see visions!

Ozric is fuckin great. TOOTS AND THE MAYTALS and EEK-A-MOUSE we must not forget these regaee greats. Hallucinogen, Shpongle and Manorexia are excellent more electronic based stuff, Jackson and his Computer Band. And as always I continue to regularly listen to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the Sabri Brothers and Zakir Hussien. Niyaz, Naab and Arabic Breakbeats are interesting organic/electronic hybrids.

Wow, some Ozrics-love. :)

If you like 'em, also check out Hidria Spacefolk from Finland, and a band called Lotus from Philly. And, as for Ozrics side-projects, Nodens Ictus is great, downtempo stuff too.
