That made me laugh, chief.

So, I know that some of you guys have grabbed the leak. Thoughts? (I'm probably just going to wait until it is released. D/L'ing, burning, etc. is just too much damn work.)

The music has a "folkier" bent to it, which is to say the melodies are prominent and stick in your head long after you've heard it. It's more assertive and potent than his other work, which was mired in despair.
It's hilarous to hear people saying it sounds like "basic BM," because BM would not be BM without Burzum and the lot of those "basic BM" bands are either shameless derivatives of Burzum or Darkthrone. Go ahead, call me names...
Also, this "is this all he could come up with?" or, "it treads no new ground," stuff is laughable. It sounds really nothing like the old catalog, but has built on everything that precedes it. I'm shocked he was able to create something as powerful and realized as Belus in so little time. Look forward to more.

On the one hand, he was surprisingly prolific before his imprisonment. On the other hand, there has been some time for this one to percolate...

The album really is phenomenal.
Easily an early contender for best album of 2010.

It has leaked and will be officially released early next month. 3/8, I think.

Anyone still listening to this?
It crapped out on me pretty quickly, but I still dig, "Glemselens elv" and that dubsteppin' shit, "Kaimadalthas' nedstigning."

Haven't listened to it recently, but I've been thinking that I should pull it out.
