He cancelled his reservation because of the venue change and I went ahead and booked a new room since he's been unsure about his work schedule in the meantime.

Ha, ha, yes...to my utter delight, they actually played that one when I saw them this summer. About halfway through the song, a blisteringly hot bottle of sun baked Ballentine's appeared in the crowd seemingly out of thin air for anyone fool enough to choke some down. Bad whiskey time!

meh, music is good, vocals really irk me for whatever reason. i can dig clean vocals when they're done well over the right kind of music but something about the vocals and the effects they put on them make me think of like nu-metal or something of that ilk. yuck.

ryan, i agree. the vocals are tolerable but only for so long. the only song i really like off the new mastodon is "stargasm".
