They used to have so much cool shit. A lot of Devin Townsend stuff. Some of the more rare Meshuggah releases. Stuff from smaller labels...

i think it would be obscene to say media play carried "rare" shit, just because they had more than the most recent release doesnt make it rare if you can buy it anywhere online... media play did have some good metal from time to time, prices werent the most friendly but it was more mainstream metal a la relapse, metal blade, nuclear blast type shit
Fair enough. More rare than Best buy but certainly not to the level of say Deathgasm. I just meant that you could find (for instance) th Fredrik Thordendahl solo CD at Media Play, whereas that new Best Buy they put in it's place doesn't even have ANY Meshuggah.

What would be obscene however would be if I said it while openly stroking my cock...perhaps in a church.

This reminds me of the time I went to Criminal Records and asked the guy there where the metal section was. He laughed at me and pointed over to like 5 CDs... Withered's Memento Mori was one of them, so I snatched it up. THen I went through their bargain shelf and found a Meshuggah and some At the Gates, and then I just had to do it -- a Manowar!!
