Funny, they are both still around.

We used to listen to Gravedigger a little bit, but not much. I never heard Rage, but I remember that the inserts to one of the my records (Endless Pain? Pleasure to Kill?) had an advertisement for them. They must have been on Noise at the time. Both are sort of Metal Church/early Helloween territory.

I guess it goes to show how parochial metal was. You heard what you and your friends were able to discover. The rest was all unknown.

This band seems virtually unknown. First heard them when they played at Swayze's to about 15 people a few years ago with Frostmoon Eclipse for one of the last Deathgasm shows there. Pretty mezmerizing set. Frontman's an odd character, but great sound definitely. Check out the In Hora Maledictus pair and Plateau Σ if you haven't already.
