Man, you are on a Mac machine, right? Shame. I have all that shit on my soulseek account.I LOVE RLYL. Great shit. Should have been huge. Spotify is great for a lot of that shit, too. Who cares if you can't DL it if it's always on demand?

I found two WEEP songs on Spotify and by the end of the first song I had ordered the entire catalog from ProjektRecords.com. It's seriously the best thing that I've heard in years. Go look up on YouTube a few songs like Snow Scenery and Lay There and Drown and you, too, will be willing to pay for the catalog. Fuck it's so good. Start with the Worn Thin album. It's the kind of melancholy that makes me want to hang myself while dancing at a deathrock

night that's somehow out in the warm rain late, late at night.

I work on an iPad during the day when I keep my daughter but mostly listen to my iPod from a dock in the other room that cranks ...so I have one of those iPod classics that's like 60 gigs,
So I throw everything I down load on there, I hit up projeckt and see if they can send me a promo

This week it been a reflective fall sort of head space so...

Gowl - Submit to Only Noise + split with Agitate (crushing grind, so heavy... especially the tracks form the Agitate split)
Jess and the Ancient Ones - random tracks online (can't get enough of this shit)
Nocturnal Torment - They Come At Night (this is pretty fucking good, somewhere between early morbid angel and entombed i guess, not real stoked on the vocals tho)
Bukkake Boys - LP + EP (i love this band, always kinda feel like something gets lost between their live radness and the recordings tho)
Bridgeburner - split with Skuff (nice punked-out grind with some groovy parts)
Insect Warfare - split with Carcass Grinder
Tenement - split with Culo
Loss - Despondency
The Devil's Blood - Come, Reap EP
Hooded Menace - Effigies of Evil (good but not as good as NCTD)
Death Toll 80K - Harsh Realities (best grind record in the last decade? maybe. lots of bolt thrower vibes for the win)
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.

The Odz Manouk split with Tukaaria is the best of their works.

In addition to nonstop WEEP....

Bowie - Station to Station

JG Thirwell - Music From the Venture Brothers (very 60s soundtrack-ish)
This is the dude from Foetus doing stuff that's way more cinematic and straight forward than I would have ever imagined him capable.

Howard Jones - Things Can Only Get Better and other various
Yeah, I love synthpop to the core. Shoot me.

Lush - Love Life
Side one is sooo good and then...there's side two.

Gaythiest - Stealth Beats

Witchtrap - Vengeance is My Name

Blackthrone - Black Metal Juggernaut
It may be a parody, but it's still some crusty goodness. Thanks to that maniac board invader from last week for making me look up this stupidass name. It's certainly not the trve, kvlt, Mom's basement project he was referencing, but it's interesting all the same.

The Rockin' Vickers - some Best Of thing

White Stripes - White Blood Cells
Never been a big fan, but I tend to dig dude's projects when I hear them.

Modern English - After the Snow
This band was all over the place and so much better than history's rendering them to a BK commercial.

Pagan Altar - Lords of Hypocrisy
I like this band way more recorded than I did live. Again, shoot me.

A Life Less Lived: The Gothic Box
Surprisingly good comp. I'm not big on comps like this, but it hits the spot.

Grave - Endless Procession Of Souls

Lightning Love - Girls Who Look Like Me

Napalm Death - Utilitarian

Twisted Sister - Under the Blade and You Can't Stop Rock N' Roll
Read Dee's bio and had to revisit some of this shit. It's OK. Some is great, some is douchechill inciting crap.

KISS - Unmasked and Destroyer

The Darkness - Hot Cakes
It's OK. Some is great, some is douchechill inciting crap.

The Libertines - Up the Bracket

Burning Love - Rotten Thing to Say

Laughing Hyenas - Hard Times
Fuck, this band was overlooked by history. Such a shame.

Dayglo Abortions - Feed Us a Fetus

Insane - Wait and Pray
Pretty killer skate punk-ish metal - surprised this doesn't get more play on here.

W.A.S.P. - The Last Command
Totally not on this album, but I'm always amazed at how not terrible and actually good is their version of The Real Me.

Suzi Quatro - Various
I'm not going to say everything she did was good, but most of it leaned that way.

Scissor Sisters - Magic Hour

Cancer Bats - Dead Set on Living
No idea why, but time and again this album just does it for me in some weird way.
