I had to get a new car battery yesterday and now my stereo settings are all fucked up. And the shuffle keeps starting over with the first alphabetical song which is Horna "Ääni Yössä" (of course it starts with two As) which is 21 minutes long. So I'm listening to Ääni Yössä over and over again while I resort the settings and beat it into submission. Stupid technology. :x

Tribulation - The Formulas of Death
I don't really know what to make of this. I think I like it. Don't go in expecting 'The Horror' Pt 2, that's for sure.

Magic Circle - s/t LP
It's fair to say that this is one of the best doom metal records of recent years. Riffs for days.

Cultes des Ghoules - Henbane
Still trying to comprehend this madness...

I've seen a lot of talk about this and have liked what I heard. Any word on the vinyl release?

April through Hell's Headbangers.
Whatever praise you've heard does not even come close to the reality of just how fucked this record is.

There's some more that is supposed to be released. This summer, maybe? An EP? 10 songs?

Something like that.

Do you hear anyting nu-metal sounding on it? That's what some folks said that line-up sounded like live at the Archive Gallery. Do definitely check out their first one THEY RISE. I love that album deeply.
