Cultes des Ghoules -- Haxan. Sort of unremarkable, Blasphemy-style noise. Although the last third of that last track is certainly demented.
Cultes des Ghoules -- Henbane. A totally different animal, plowing the same field, maybe, as Necromanzee Cogent, except with talent. Gave a listen while driving on a misty country road at dusk. Perfect.

Vinyl version of Henbane arrived today. However, I am waiting on a hardware kit so I can actually attach my new (to me) cartridge to the headshell. The old screws don't work.

Up early (for a vacation) made some coffee and put on Spotify:

Venom – Leave Me In Hell 5 minutes ago
Venom – To Hell And Back 8 minutes ago
Testament – Eerie Inhabitants 13 minutes ago
Destruction – Release From Agony 19 minutes ago
Tankard – (Empty) Tankard 24 minutes ago
Kreator – Stream Of Consciousness 28 minutes ago
Destruction – Life Without Sense 35 minutes ago
Tankard – Zombie Attack 38 minutes ago
Cryptopsy – Phobophile 48 minutes ago
Demonaut – Fallen/Risen 52 minutes ago
Demonaut – Woman in White 57 minutes ago

Now everyone is getting up and my musical respite is afgelopen. Bummer.

This week my shuffle discovered that it really likes Belphegor. Specifically Necrodaemon Terrorsathan. More specifically "Lust Perishes in the Thirst for Blood." It likes that song a lot. It's also still infatuated with Merrimack. Does anyone else's shuffle do this? Is it just mine?
