This Disfigurement kicks ass. I don't know why there were so many retarded assholes on the road at 5:30 am this morning, but Disfigurement helped me manage the boiling rage. Thanks, fellas.

Lots of Vader.

Have any of you tried the new iTunes radio? I plugged in Bolt Thrower as a starting point and it brought up Suffocation, Morbid Angel, Dismember, Entombed, Vader and Emperor. It's basically Apple's version of Pandora, but with far too many more commercials.

HAHA - Maybe I need an "herbal remedy" before I can read it. I'll try using my Third Eye.

No way, the packaging was perfecto!

That is a perfect playlist.

Aaaannddd...here's the last month or so minus the vinyl. Feel free to skip on to the next post. I just love the Spotify/iPod/Last.fm interface for cataloging this nonsense.

I've been reading Al Jourgensen's ridiculous memoir so that's had me spinning a bunch of his stuff. I've never been a big fan because it always felt kinda canned to me, but it's been OK. Probably not the result he was looking for…

Down to Nothing - sXe is great for motivation!

INVSN - I forget the name of the new album. I ordered it months ago and it showed up on Friday. It's Dennis Lyxzen's (Refused, T(I)NC, etc...) new band. This one is very danceable dark stuff. Really good, just like everything else he's ever done.

Negative Approach - Total Recall

Blacklist Royals - Semper Liberi - Decent streetpunk. I've definitely heard worse. Not sure if it'll hold up for long.

Vader - Welcome to the Morbid Reich

Swingin' Utters - Poorly Formed – This is way different from the streetpunk that I expect from this band. I guess that’s what I get for sleeping on them for several years. What I’m hearing is much more like 90s indie rock, but not really in a bad way…if that’s possible.

Sharon Needles - PG-13

Phantogram – various tracks – Not feeling it.

Minus the Bear – various tracks – Kinda feeling it. Not unlike Daft Punk. That’s OK.

My Chemical Romance – various tracks – OK. I kinda love this band. When they are on, they are on, but when they aren’t it’s like 90s indie in a bad way.

Chelsea Wolfe – Unknown Rooms – I keep going back to this, but it never really clicks with me. It seems like it should, but it just doesn’t. Just makes me want to listen to Anna Termhein.

Electric Wizard – Dopethrone

Ordeal By Fire – Untold Passions – Really good stuff. Sort like acoustic metal, sorta gothic, but not cheesy. Like a less orchestral Sisters of Mercy. Just heavy deathrock, I guess. Great for listening to on earbuds while scowling at everyone in the cereal aisle at Kroger.

Pantera - Vulgar Display

Promiscuity – Infernal Rock N’ Roll demo – black n’ roll goodness, I suppose.

Gama Bomb – Terror Tapes – More of the same.

VV Brown – Some of this is smoking retro soul with a fresh edge, other doesn’t do it for me.

Eminem – Berzerk single – Christ, I hope this is a prank. So bad.

Conflict – Employing All Means Necessary

Blasphemy – Fallen Angel of Doom

Pleasure Seekers – What a Way to Die – Suzi Quatro was always a badass.

The Ultra Mega Galactic – S/T – Psycho out!

Scorpion Child – S/T - This is really, really good hard rock with psychedelic overtones. I highly recommend this for just about anyone on this board. It’s on Spotify. Check it out.

Watain – The Wild Hunt – This will probably grow on me over time. So far, so good.

Ghost – Infestissuman – Getting ready for Knoxville next month. Woo hoo!

Christian Death – Sex & Drugs & Jesus Christ

The Donnas – Spend the Night, Bitichin’, Gold Medal, American Teenage Rock & Roll Machine, Get Skintight

The Devil’s Blood – The Time of Time Evermore

Suburban Sharp – City Sharps

Rancid - …And Out Come the Wolves

Motley Crue – Too Fast for Love

Christian Mistress – Agony and Opium - Whatever happened to this band? Do they still exist?

Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats – Blood Lust

Taxi – Like a Dog

You need to start your own radio station with all that music.

Which album? All of'em are excellent, Satan Worshiping Doom, is definitely My favorite though.

As of recent, I've been spinning that one and "Hate Ashbury". Also, managed to scoop up SWD, in red vinyl on the recent repress they did.

A lot of that is Spotify. It's an awesome try-it-before-you-buy-it interface, like bandcamp. I could do a pretty serious record store with the vinyl, but that addiction has way too strong of a grip on me.
