OH SHIT!
You're going to have SO MUCH fun with that!
I want to hear about everything you do!!!
We just put new wheels and a new suspension on the car last week and it's lookin sexy:
Also, we're looking to get a MkII GTI as our second car.
We almost had a great one we were gonna get in Austin tomorrow, but some dude bought it today.
It was so perfect.

Yeah the wheels are OEM and the rest of it is in great condition. It just had a few wiring problems but they have been taken care of now all it needs is a nice paint job. We are thinking about a nice three stage paint job maybe with a little bit of pearl. Actually not long ago I painted my Dave Mirra 720 Haro (or however the hell you spell his last name) a factory Lamborghini color its pretty fucking sweet considering it was free.

Dude, that sounds awesome.
The pearl colors are so gorgeous; I'm totally in love with my Black Magic.
What color are you thinking about?

the color is almost like a school bus yellow kind of I guess. We use paint codes from a PPG book here and they have alot of different factory colors but you can do it however you want its just a matter of adding different color pearl flakes

Oh sweet.
Beetles are seriously the only cars that can get away with being colors like that; I love it.
Where do you work?
It's nice when you can do a lot of the stuff yourself.
Our friend did our suspension for us last week for $200, which ended up being less than half the price of the quotes we got from people around town (I'm in Texas now for a while).

Three members of this band happen to own Vee-Dubs. I think the best aspect of VW is having Uli Kunkel, aka "Karl Hungiss: The Nihilist" as the official SpokesGerman. I think the actor is actually a Swede, but I could be wrong. I'll have to ask Mike about that shit. Anyway, our pal went ahead and bought the VW he posted that pic of. I don't know about the rest of you WREKsters, but Ho!!y's got some seriously good taste in automotive adventures.

Yeah, well, I'm staying here for a while, so we need two cars.
So now we have an expensive project car and a cheap project car.
I'm such a nerd, though.
I think it's the coolest thing ever because we're getting the oldest generation GTI and we already have the newest generation GTI.

Nope; I can't drive stick yet, & the new GTI is DSG, so I can drive it as an automatic.

Hans (the GTI) & Franz (the Rabbit), together for the first time.
Pardon the spare on the GTI, we got a bad flat and had to order another tire.
