Spring is in the air and I'm feeling the itch to dust off the heavy metal records.

Midnight -- Satanic Royalty
Speewolf -- Ride With Death

Sometimes when our bathroom sink drains it sounds like the vocalist from Revenge.

I think I listened to some random songs, last night. That may be documented elsewhere.

Dead Congregation -- Graves of the Archangels. Such a good record.

I didn't know that the Black Witchery/Revenge split was released. I might have to check that out.

CD released this week. Vinyl to come. Far too short, but really great. The new Black Witchery is fantastic. I'd wager you'll like Revenge doing Equimanthorn, too. Cool having that on record now. Totally floored seeing them pull that out thin air at MDF a couple of years ago. One of my favorite sets of all time. Killer split.

I think I had just stepped out of the tent to have a smoke. I heard those first four notes and thought, "what is that?" And then I heard the next four and I was all "WHHAAAAAA??"

Definitely one of the highlights for me.

Iron Maiden -- Killers. This record, along with several others, stayed in heavy rotation when in was a teen-ager. I think this might very well be a perfect record, Di'Anno's bad falsettos and all.
