You clearly haven't heard Kill. I think it's a clearer production than Whisper Supremacy.

Slayer - Christ Illusion Music = Lyrics = so  it's almost

Opeth - Ghost Reveries/Deliverance
Bad Religion - The Process of Belief
Prime Mover - A Monument to Your Sins (shameless, but true)
SYL - Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing
Misfits - Collections 1 and 2

I also want to echo Kamal's statement about KILL. Easily the best produced Cannibal Corpse album, and quite possibly their best album ever! I haven't bought it yet, but it's on my list.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

ok, whisper supremecy analy sodomizes "kill" and corpsegrinder!

but i must say.......i listened to cannibal corpse for the first time in a LONG time yesterday and i think that i've rediscovered why i used to like them so much. i went years without liking them very much and just bored of what they do. but now that death metal is so stupididly technical and songs are crap i realize that its a nice break to listen to CC. i was really getting into it.

Kill's production is ok, but I am not the biggest of Erik Rutan's studio jobs anyhow, I think they just sound a little cluttered and unmastered. Not to say it isnt a good record, I own it and it rules. But The production isnt something to be compared to the likes of Niles "Annihilation of the Wicked" which I think is one of the best produced DM records of all.

As for Whisper Supremacy vs. Kill, I am not really a fan of Mike Disalvo, so I wil have to go with Kill and Corpsegrinder!! Both great bands though, I would jsut prefer the worm and NSV over whisper supremacy.

Psyopus - Ideas of Reference (very technical)
Severe Torture - Fall of the Despised (not so technical but very solid)

Glad I'm not the only one that realizes the true masterpiece that is Foreigner's "4". Jukebox Hero is the epitomal metal song. It owns anything on this thread!

reading through the past 10 or so replies has inspired me to go back and listen to None So Vile again.

also, I finally was able to track down copies of the new Anata, The Berzerker, and Akercocke albums, and have been enjoying all they have to offer.

cryptopsy fans who pull the "i only like lord worm" shit arent even legit cryptopsy fans, mike disalvos vocals are intense and brutal as fuck on both whisper and "and then you'll beg".... disalvo vocals lay to waste lord worms vocals on once was not anyways....

however... i got into cryptopsy when disalvo was the singer and the first cryptopsy albums i heard were and then you'll beg and whisper supremecy.... because none so vile was out of print at the time! whisper supremecy is a timeless classic and kill is the same shit cc has re-hashed up for the past 10 years.... blah! faggots!

Matt, look at your forum avatar and cheer up a bit.

I definitely like Dasalvo more than Lord Worm, especially since the latest Cryptopsy album. Dude just sounds...well, like I imagine a worm would if he fronted a death metal band.
