Ohio's Mouth Of The Architect has apparently disbanded. Though no official statement has been issued thus far, guitarist/vocalist Gregory Lahm announced his departure from the group this weekend (Lahm is now playing with Black Vigils). Formed in 2003, Mouth Of The Architect has put out several releases with Translation Loss Records.

translation:

"all two of our fans were not answering their cell phones. we're gonna try again monday."

Melechesh - Sphynx and Emissaries

holy shit this stuff is awesome

I also got a gigantic package, Melechesh included, from Deathgasm since they now underwrite my show. I'll be posting like a dork every few days when I have time to listen to it all.
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling.

MOTA isnt breaking up, they got back together already

----
Just a week after announcing their break-up, mouth of the architect has apparently had a change of heart. The group has now revealed that they are not breaking up and that original guitarist Alex Vernon, who co-wrote "Time And Withering," has rejoined the band. Additionally, the band has booked a show for September 29th at Gilly's in Dayton, Ohio.

new Down
new Pig Destroyer
new Porcupine Tree
new Radiohead

I'm at the mercy of shitty chain record stores now, so new stuff is harder to find unfortunately. If I had any semblance of an internet connection I'd be all caught up on the dozen or so other excellent albums I've missed out on so far this year.
