I totally get that.

A friend of my dad's, who is a very warm guy, sent me a link to some band (Disturbed? The one with the bald singer?) playing some song like "Imagine" or something. Obviously, he was sharing from a genuine place. So I played along, agreed that it was emotively powerful or whatever, and, all the while, I wanted to send him a link to "Christrapig Black Metal." Except he is a retired Methodist preacher.

Yep, my brother likes Disturbed too. But I think that's a requirement to join the Marines.

No whiskey, just coffee. But I'm just going to say it: "Transilvanian Hunger" has the greatest black metal riff of all time.

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Pink Floyd - The Division
Judas Priest - Defenders of the Faith
Gorguts - Colored Sands (Forgotten Arrows is the beez kneez)
Dissection - The Somberlain
Dissection - Storm of the Light's Bane
Slayer - Reign in Blood

I haven't been very adventurous lately. Too be honest I used to not like Pink Floyd, but lately I can't stop listening to them.

Before Zetro this last time? Rob Dukes? Yeah, he's a horrible everything. But if you're talking about before Zetro as in Baloff, go jump in a fire. :P

Inquisition -- Bloodshed Across the Empyrean Altar Beyond the Celestial Zenith. A little bit more atmospheric than Obscure Verses, but definitely nowhere near the dumpster fire that many seemed to have predicted.

What am I supposed to do with this giant flag? I guess I could make a skirt out of it.

ETA: Oh yeah, thanks for not labeling the tracks, dickholes. I guess I'll spend the afternoon hand-entering the goddamn novel that you guys call song titles.
