I'm afraid you'll have to head farther south, to Brno, to hang out with Root. I lived there (and Prague) for 2 years in the mid-90s and saw Root play once, opening for MDB and Anathema.Diana wrote:Listened to that on the drive in to work this morning. I'm going to Prague next month, so I'm probably totally going to hang out with them. It's gonna be sweet. Everyone try not to be too jealous of my awesome new friendship with Root. Thanks.zla vydra wrote:Temple in the Underworld
What will you be doing in Prague, Diana?Diana wrote:I'm going to Prague next month, so I'm probably totally going to hang out with them. It's gonna be sweet. Everyone try not to be too jealous of my awesome new friendship with Root. Thanks.
And what were you doing the Czech Republic, if you don't mind me asking? Been pretty nosy recently about everyone's international wayfaring on here solely out of envy.zla vydra wrote:I'm afraid you'll have to head farther south, to Brno, to hang out with Root. WHAT AM I NOT DOING. It's a combined tour of Germany and Czech Republic. I'll just paste some things here:MS_39455 wrote:What will you be doing in Prague, Diana?
Frankenstein Castle
Medieval Crime (Torture) Museum
Heidelburg Castle
Hexenturm Witches Tower
Nurenberg's Dungeons and Nazi Rally Grounds.
underground Mummies in Klatovy catacombs
Water Castle known as Svihov
haunted Tower at Zvikov Castle
Museum of Alchemy
Absinthe Store
Macabre Marionette Museum
Astronomical Clock
Old City including the Jewish Quarter and the Golem Monster
Sedlec Ossuary known as "The Church of Bones" AKA THE GODDAMNED BONE CHURCH
and Houska Castle which is LITERALLY A HELLMOUTH.
It's costing me a bloody fortune, but this is pretty much my dream itinerary right here. And I am flattered by your feigned envy, being that there's definitely a castle somewhere in Eastern Europe named after you.
