There has to be a road course some place.

Of course the nova will rock me at the dragstrip. At least you conceded(sp) the fact that your 1.8t can't keep up. That's all good, though. WIth new cars come new numbers.

rich, road atlanta is the road course, holly, i told you that car is probably a little quicker, so no, i wont drag race it, too short of a course for me to get a chance, im definatly not scared so fuck yourself. and rich, i dont mind telling you what ive done, but if you wanna start putting money on the line, before you even know what your racing against, i was gonna let you. just seems like your trying to hustle yourself though.

The torque numbers are as followed 265-280 I couldn't really find about the power to weight ration I know the T-birds are not synonymous for its light weight. Now as far as you Rich and Andy there is a track in Lagrange GA or at least that is what I am being told from the guys at the shop I work at. That is if you don't mind getting out of the metro Atlanta area and driving down here on the south side of things. Oh there is also a dirt track here in Newnan.

Oh and on a side note I started checking out and comparing different cars. I found the Subaru Impreza WRX STI pretty impressive. Its a 2.5L DOHC that puts out 300hp @ 6,000rpms with 300 lb-ft @ 3,000. NOt to bad and it doesn't weight that much more than the GTI.

the imprezza is an insane car, just ugly as fuck... they win the shit out of rally's all the time, but i just cant see myself in such a ugly ass car. im not gettin on a circle track, thats the dirt, and i dont know about the one in lagrange, i think its a circle track too, road atlanta is the only road course out here. rich if you want info, get your little know it all shit talking wife to look into it, (not insulting, you have to admit its true) i dont know why you think racing on the street will make you loose your license or get higher insurance, the only thing it will get you is a hefty ticket. atlanta cops are trash.

Check this out I was looking up a 04 Dodge Neon RT I found out that this little car is quite fucking fast for such a small engine. Given the car has had a few mods it was running a 1/4 mile in 8.2 secs at 120 miles an hour now thats pretty fucking impressive. I am starting to gain a little more respect for these american made cars. If you don't believe me feel free to do a search for yourself. Oh and the Neon weights less than the GTI (3158lbs) the RT (about 2635 or something like that)

maybe 0 to 60 in 8.2 secs.unless you think a neon could take a suzuki hayabusa the fastest street bike record at 7.29 secs over 200 miles phr 1/4 mile.

I was trying to find the website where I found that out. Check this out you were some what close it does 0-60mph in 5.5sec
