Well thank you for shitting in my mouth because I have been waiting years for this.

Tool was the gateway band that got me into metal so I'll always carry a torch for them no matter what.

I am up to 14 plays according to the gay counter thing on Itunes, which doesn't include the times I didn't finish the song. It has been well worth the almost 5 year wait.

The next time I come across some obscure deathgrind relating to bodily fluids and/or processes I'll be sure to pass a link to it along to you Matt. 8)

Yeah, Tool aren't exactly known for being an exciting listen, they're all about being mentally stimulating. It's kinda in the same vein of Opeth in that you have to be willing to devote time to listen to a long song 5 or 6 times through and unravel all the intricacies of it. It's definitely not everyone's style.

Though, for what it's worth, I can't see how both of you can dig ISIS and not like Tool. They're pretty much in the same ballpark music-wise as far as favoring long droning songs based on building up and then breaking down layers of riff repetition and emotion, except one guy sings and one guy shouts. I like both of them and it's rumored they are gonna be touring together later on this year, which would be one hell of a show.

Might as well start camping out in front of ticketmaster if you want to see this show.
