Ahhh, Faith No More.
Do you ever play the sickened bastard child of music on Wrekage? Is it metal?
Who out there can praise Faith?

Fuck yeah! Just listen to Angel Dust - Mike Patton does just about every kind of metal scream that exists on that one album. I do think that is their best effort and most 'metal' album. If you check the playlist archive you'll see they do get WREKage play too.

Then there's Mr Bungle... ahh! Their demos are kick ass, if you can find them - they're the most metal stuff that Mr B did.

Angel Dust is great...it's playing as I write this.
What about the album they put out in...1994, wasn't it? I see it sometimes in CD Warehouse, and I've always meant to check it out...it had some weird title...

Mike Patton, in my opinion, is an overlooked genius.

We play an occasional track from Angel Dust every now and then, it's definitely a great album.

If you know some other good songs we could play on the show put them up here, as my knowledge of the band is only on the albums The Real Thing and Angel Dust. The heavier and weirder the better, don't expect me to go play something like "Epic" on the show. :P

Surprise Your Dead of "the real thing" is a good choice.

The Real Thing and Angel Dust are both classics. Everything else they did was kinda bland. <_<

Mr. Bungle has 2 GREAT CDs out there, avoid California, however. It's a very commercial, non-quirky effort.

i just got around to reading this but i personally love california. patton is a hell of a singer. its certainly isn't as weird as their other CDs, but it's damn good. patton's EP with dillinger is one of my favorites.
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling.

I'm still partial to The Real Thing. I put it in for the first time in a long time a couple days ago. Still my favorite they've done. Though King for a day... is pretty damn good.
