The Sylvia Munson fight seems like it could be good. Jeff is 5'9 Tim is 6'8 with a long reach so it will be fun to watch the midget take on the gaint lol.

I read an article about Munson in the paper the other day.
It mainly focused on his political views and whatnot, but it painted a pretty crazy picture of what this fight is going to be like.
I still think Sylvia is going to smash him, but he'll at least get a run for his money.

Its M0nson,he's a anarchist.
Its a crazy height difference but Monson is a strong guy and a great grappler,he's prolly gonna spend his time trying to take Tim down.

well, sylvia vs. monson.......what a crock of shit! i hate tim sylvia and he is by far the worst champ in MMA today. he has no skillset, he is just a foot taller than everyone he fights. he is always so content to backpeddle and throw jabs instead of actually fighting. monson pissed me off too. i was backing monson thinking that he could take this fight with relative ease but he refused to go all out and try to beat sylvia.

the worst thing about sylvia other than how bad he sucks as a fighter is the fact that he talks so much shit. he called out fedor after eeking a decision over arlovski and then back out of a potential fight with fedor.....which is very smart b/c fedor would murder tim sylvia with the greatest of ease. but then he calls out brandon vera last night after vera beats the shit out of mir, who has already beaten sylvia, and says "i'll knock him out too!" did someone lie to him and tell him that he knocked monson out? whats all this "too!" BS?

i mean, when i was like 4 or 5 my grandmother would tell me "good shot, you made it" every time i threw a basketball halfway to the rim........did sylvia's grandmother sneak in the octagon and feed him full of lies as well?

sylvia sucks, and vera will crush him. vera is a great fighter that isn't going to be afraid of taking the fight to sylvia.....and we've seen what happens when people take the fight to "big tim".......he gets dropped and submitted.

hughes vs. st. pierre..........good fight, eventhough i'm still wondering why hughes thought he could stand with st. pierre. he should've took him down and stuck to what he does best. but it was a good fight and full of action.....and kicks to the balls.

Ya who knows why Tim talks so much crap.Fedor would be way to much for him, maybe Vera will shut him up.But I really think Monson would beat Tim with some adjustments, he almost had him in the third.
GSP got the tko but your right blaze Hughes wanted to keep the fight standing for some reason, maybe because Matt already beat him once and wanted to get a knockout win this time.It seems everyone thought George was invinsible this time and couldnt be takin down but Matt could have done it if he was really trying to.
Those low blows were really cheap,2 in a row and some close calls make's me lose some respect for GSP.
Up next Tito gets knocked the fuck out by Liddell again!!!No exuses this time.

yeah, when hughes is relentless with his takedown attempts he gets some serious slams and breaks the will of his opponents. even in their first fight he slammed GSP 2 or 3 times and it had an effect on the outcome of the fight. only trying 2 shots against a guy with the stand up of GSP is stupid.

maybe hughes thought his standup was awesome now b/c he caught BJ with a few combos after BJ screwed his ribs up. he should've known to stick to what he does best. relentless attacks, huge slams, ground'n'pound and submissions.

and yeah, i think monson would beat sylvia if he came in with a good gameplan. it seems like everyone fights sylvia with a very bad gameplan. that seems to win him the majority of his fights.
