They have one kinda like this on Metal: A headbanger's Journey. I agree with this one a lot more, although I think it's a bit overkill to analyze it to this degree heh. Still it's interesting to see a progression of how different styles came about, as long as you're not overly sweating its accuracy.

Lots of mistakes especially as regards bands' countries of origin, but I have to respect the effort involved.
I liked that 'plasma' music website that was all the rage about a year ago, where you'd type in a band name and it would show you graphically which bands were 'close' to them. It was usually accurate. (Dangit, can't quite remember the sitename...)

i think its pretty nifty. allthough alot of the band origins seem wrong. also between "THRASH METAL" and "DEATH METAL" it just gets fucked up i think. but besides that i think they did a pretty good job. better then i could do so i commend that at least
