About as accurate as the world being flat.

I laughed pretty hard when I saw "horror metal".

They have one kinda like this on Metal: A headbanger's Journey. I agree with this one a lot more, although I think it's a bit overkill to analyze it to this degree heh. Still it's interesting to see a progression of how different styles came about, as long as you're not overly sweating its accuracy.

Lots of mistakes especially as regards bands' countries of origin, but I have to respect the effort involved.

I liked that 'plasma' music website that was all the rage about a year ago, where you'd type in a band name and it would show you graphically which bands were 'close' to them. It was usually accurate. (Dangit, can't quite remember the sitename...)

locked up inside your maniacal brain! you shall put "Colonial Metal" on the map and maybe even this semi-correct metal timetable.

i think its pretty nifty. allthough alot of the band origins seem wrong. also between "THRASH METAL" and "DEATH METAL" it just gets fucked up i think. but besides that i think they did a pretty good job. better then i could do so i commend that at least
