Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but I had a question concerning one of the dudes that is an "atlmetal.com partner." So anyways, do any of you guys know about this dude "MetalMark?" He has stated, "I want to bring more bands to Atlanta and create a true metal scene here in the south." Uh, okay. I don't think I have ever seen him at any shows, but I guess he goes to some since he has videos interviewing a few bands or whatever. What kind of credentials does this dude have? He seems like he's trying to be a local guy version of Metal Sanaz or something.

I don't know about his credentials or whatever, but he's a nice guy.
He called us up a while back to ask if he could interview us for his site, came out to one of our shows, asked us some questions, filmed us playing and posted it on his site/myspace. I'm usually not one to turn down free promotion, or deny anyone from helping get my band's name out there and/or support whatever semblance of a scene we may have here.
I don't know what he's trying to get into, but his enthusiasm for Metal is genuine. Despite what you may imply from some of the bands shown in the Rockfest clip.

Never seen em live though...they seem decent but kind of like Pantera/Lamb of God worshipers
I think I know the girl that fucked all the guys in that band.

I'll second that motionStrange wrote:I don't know about his credentials or whatever, but he's a nice guy.
