I saw Quiet Riot twice. once at the Civic Center here in September 1983 opening up for Iron Maiden and once at a nightclub here in December 1995. Say what one will about DuBrow but he put on a great show on both occaisions.
He's finally reunited with Randy Rhoades. R.I.P.

if S.O.D put out another album this will be the lyrics to "ballad of Kevin DuBrow"
i've always enjoyed Quiet Riot. i'll listen to some today in his honor.
an old band of mine played a show in Mississippi once with a band that covered METAL HEALTH and it was amazing. it was a band of brothers and the drummer went through three snare heads b/c he was rocking so hard to covers by Quiet Riot, Alice Cooper, Tourniquet, Metallica and Maiden.
