Going Shooting Today - May 18

Post by KunikoS Rayne » Sun May 18th, 2008, 10:45 am

If anyone wants to go, I'm going in a couple hours to Nick's Shooting range off of Canton Rd and Piedmont Hwy.

If you can't go this time, we should go some other time :P

I will be there with a .44 magnum Desert Eagle, an SKS, and A Glock 23.

Damn it's been a long time since I have been to the shooting range AKA my parents back yard. I have had this 38 for some time and have never even fired it.

I've been having to keep my aresenal out of my immediate living area for a bit now, but soon I'll have everything back. Always good to lay down the gunfire.

I went to a shooting range a couple of months ago and a few weeks before that. I love shooting...I got to shoot my boyfriend's berretta and his glock 27.

The last time I went shooting before that was just over 2 years ago...we went up to S. Carolina to my boyfriend's family farm, camped out and shot all weekend...we had a .22, 2 AK-47s, an AB-10, a 12 guage, some other pistol, and 2 other guns that I can't remember (there was 4 of us, therefore lots of guns) ...it was nuts but hella fun!

here's a pic from that trip...

Sure, don't even mention the person who took you there, which is the same person who owns those guns.

I live right behind that place but I've never been there.

Next time...Margaritas at the Mexican restuarant and THEN go shooting.

Haha, sounds like a plan.

In my area, we typically go shooting and then drinks, but I suppose I could reverse the routine. Haha.

Nick's is pretty cool. That's sort of become my home range since I moved here a couple of years ago. Chances are good that I've seen some of you there. Glad to know that there are a few more well armed individuals here on the board.

Metalfreak you look very familiar for some reason. Did you ever attend school in south GA? Maybe GA southern.

Exciting crap. I actually went clay pigeon shooting a few weeks back for the first time. It was cool firing a 12-gauge and once I got my posture down my video game skills kicked in and I was downing them like Orks.

Yeah, those sparks were probably caused by a primer blowing out, I think. It's just cheap Wolf 7.62x39 ammo. It happens with that stuff. It was pretty interesting when it happened, though.

And yes, the Desert Eagle throws a massive muzzle flash. If you were standing off to the side, the flash goes about 18 inches from the muzzle. It's insane.

I love that gun.

I'm such a spineless boring pussy. No shooting for me. Don't even know the proper way to handle a gun. Would probably shoot myself or someone else accidentally.

I love shooting skeet it's always fun to sit back with a few friends and a few beers and blast the shit out of some pigeons. Last time we went we had a trap you can sit on we would stand on each side and see who could shoot the most. Honestly I don't know how anyone didn't get the back of there head blown off lol, come to think of its probably not the best idea to get drunk and then go shooting.
