"Non sequitur! Nomad! Tan-Ru! Nomad! Tan-Ru!"

I like Slough Feg...and there doesn't seem to be a middle road with them.
The last two times I've played them on WREKage, the first time some nitwit called and complained about the "Christmas carol music".....and the second time, a certain local music critic called and really liked it, wanted to know who they were, what CD and song it was, etc.

Slough Feg is awesome, especially the earlier material. "Down Among The Deadmen" is amazing. I believe they are getting ready to release a new album...

Any band that has based a significant amount of their material on an old -- but awesome -- SF RPG is frakkin' cool in my book.

The fact that they wrote a song based upon one of the greatest SF B-movies of all time, "Death Sport" starring David Carradine, scores points as well. Actually, I cannot remember the song's title, but it crushes.
