I'm at the T-gates terminal at Hartsfield, wearing the Bolt Thrower short I got at MDF last year.

A normal looking guys turns a corner, talking to a female that I presume is his girlfriend. You can always tell a kindred spirit, by the smile on their face.

He's lost in thought, looks at my shirt and says, "Bolt Thrower! Nice shirt!"

I had just enough time to laugh, and then twenty paces separated us as each walked on to our gates.

I was sitting at the bar at Applebees last night and saw a dude wearing an Aborted shirt. In a small farming town I was kinda surprised to see that.

In hindsight I should've taken a picture of this but also at Applebees, I was talking to this dude about tattoos. (cause I got 6 now and most were visible in my tank top) He showed me one of his on his shin. He has a calcium deposit and had an eyeball tattooed on it. It was fuckin weird hahahaha (not directly metal related but metal enough, I guess lol)

So, there is apparently a 1200 foot pentagram etched into the countryside in Kazahkstan. You can see it here.

Or, read about it here. Google maps helpfully explains that one of the roads is called "Soviet Red Star". But I still like to think that some crazy metalheads got all metal.

Was at the Middletown, Ohio Hot Air Balloon Fest Saturday and saw far too many religious t-shirts, BUT I also saw a Ghost t-shirt.

The girl behind the counter at the Waffle House said she liked my Bolt Thrower t-shirt.

A guy with a swastika shirt on at walmart told me I had a nice shirt (Origin). I didn't know how to feel. I'm glad I didn't say "you too man," on instinct.

Non sequitur: Every time I see something about the band Grave Digger I get excited because I think it's about the monster truck. I'm all "FUCK YEAH GRAVE....oh." :(

Interestingly, the band is older than the truck. However, I'm pretty sure that I heard about the truck first.

Had a dream last night that we (some female and myself) were trying to lie low, because THEY were after us. We had been hanging in the back of a store, staying away from the windows, but decided that it was time to go.

As we were walking out, one of the shopkeeps yells out, "hey! Nice vest. Did you pay $200 for it?"

I shot him a leather-gloved bird (which was oddly O.J.-ish) and yelled at him, "I sewed the patches on myself, asshole!"

Clearly, my subconscious is wrestling with anxieties about being a poseur.

Watched Without a Paddle on Netflix the other night out of boredom. Randomly heard an EYEHATEGOD song during a scene.
