The next time I see someone with a metal shirt anywhere near where I live or work will be the first time.

these are quality posts. thanks for reminding me about them, me
On a similar note, I read the short story E.C. Hellwell wrote (and subsequently was collaborated with Mark Shelton to make a song) 'The Riddle Master'. I already loved the song, but having read the short story that was written in like the 70s really made me appreciate it as a whole.

Was watching It's Always Sunny last night, the DENNIS system episode specifically, and in the scene where Mac is going after Dennis's slops in the pharmacist, I swear he's wearing a dark red shirt with black letters that say "DAWN OF THE BLACK HEARTS". I can't find a good screen cap, or anything that phrase could refer to other than the Mayhem boot.

the mother gave 'bute to snap, crackle, n pop, so naturally the father gave a nod to priest. naturally. that or they were expecting a dennis the menace type thing, cuz when is the middle name voiced other than when one is being a hellion?

That's cool. I would have liked to see them in a regular show lineup. My second metal tape was the first Metal Church album.

saw another guy in the same darkthrone tee shopping at the same publix today. at least I think it was a different guy. I guess it could have been the same guy, it's been quite a few years.

Metal has been popping up in stuff I've been watching.

Kreator's track "Pleasure to Kill" plays prominently in a scene in the German TV show Dark.

And Venom's "Angel Dust" pops up in Beyond the Black Rainbow.

Thought that was funny when the grandpa heard "Pleasure to Kill," and could comprehend Mille screeching in English.

Especially since that music was so radical back then. There's no way someone his age would have been able to digest it.

But, Grandpa and Kreator are both German, so maybe they were all simpatico.

Not sure if Ale Yeah! in Decatur is unmetal, but the dude working there was wearing an Uada shirt this morning. Very cool guy.
