Couple of weeks back, saw a girl with a Venom backpatch at a nearby Kroger (the same one Jake saw the kid with a Death shirt).

Driving through my little, yuppie neighborhood on the way to work this morning, I saw an American sedan sitting by the curb. But what first caught my attention was the Death Angel sticker. I then noticed a King Diamond Sticker, a Metal Blade sticker, and a The Black Dahlia Murder sticker.

Now, that last band I don't really know. And, I have to admit, because their name is a four-word phrase that does not involve blood, death, dismemberment or Tolkien, I have fear and suspicion.

But kudos on the others, young metalhead.

Now, my hearing is old and fucked, but I'm pretty sure that, about half an hour ago, I saw a pretty blonde in a sundress, driving a purple Volvo coupe in downtown Decatur, blaring some righteous death metal.

Thought those were people til I noticed the Slendermannish lack of face. Creepy but fitting. They look like Aleister Crowley and Marianne Faithfull.

Or Carl Reiner and Samantha Fox. I am old.

I was in Publix the yesterday and saw a dude in a Verbal Abuse t-shirt helping his elderly mother in the check out line. (But that's more Punk In Unpunk Places, isn't it? It was still pretty cool.)

I have to teach spin class on Monday morning. So they're getting Ratt, Motley Crue, and Scorpions mixed in with their regular shitty cardio music. Also gonna use 'Wind of Change" for the cool-down. They will thank me.

I was driving in Decatur/Avondale Estates last night and saw a guy with a Sadistic Ritual shirt walking on the sidewalk with a hot girl. I tried to scream nice shirt out my window but was driving too fast.

So, I'm in the middle of a difficult trial. I'm sitting in the courtroom this morning while the GBI DNA analyst is testifying and I realize that I need to look something up web before I cross her.

I pull out my trusty phone to google some stuff, take it of sleep and LVTHN's "Opposed by the Nameless" starts blasting from my phone.

Awkward.
