jamey jasta supports devourment!

did anyone else hear about jamey jasta from hatebreed wearing a devourment "butcher the weak" shirt last week on headbangers ball. i dont get mtv2, and have only seen the show maybe once or twice, but i still find it interesting. i knew he liked metal and all, but i just thought i'd share this to anyone who cares! :m3t4l:

He seems like he genuinely wants to use his stature as one of the more well-known metal/hardcore guys around to help out other bands, kinda like Phil Anselmo before he turned into a raving lunatic.

I hear stories of him promoting smaller bands all the time, which is really cool.

We had someone call up and request Devourment on friday but we didn't have any of their stuff. What's their sound like?

Devourment is like ultra brutal death metal from Texas. It's hard to explain if you have never heard them, but they are heavy as shit.

i like devourment, but i agree once you've heard festering vomitious mass, you've heard everything. i just found it cool that jamey jasta wore their shirt on national television.
