And pour your Sapporo in it? I love miso. And I love beer. I'm not sure if the two should ever meet.

I remember trying that beer and just thinking it didn't taste like pumpkin or really anything good.

Sam Adams is such an unreliable brewery, IMO. Some of their stuff like the bombers of the Norse Legend Sahti are amazing. Their Longshot mixed sixes are generally solid efforts. I love their Light beer, for a light beer. But I've tried so many others that just missed the mark of being good. It just seems that they are throwing everything against the wall and hoping a large enough percentage sticks. They just redid the packaging, probably because of Yuengling nipping at their heals in marketplace share for a domestically owned brewery.

I like the plain ol Sam Adams. But I'd drink it more if it was readily avail in cans. Don't do bottles.

I like Sweetwater, but there's something about the Festive Ale I just don't dig. Something about the aftertaste. Can't really explain it.

I've really gotten into their Exodus Porter lately though. ...and looking forward to trying the Happy Ending in January.

As far as winter ales go for me, Sierra Nevada Celebration is the TITS!

IPAs are kinda hard to get into and start with but I love them now. Hop Czar is decent and that Hop Devil might have been old. Check the dates on your IPAs (some don't have dates though) because hops fade and it could be really old (3+ months = not good) and could taste like shit. But some people just don't like IPAs.

Kroger and Publix don't really have the best selection. It's decent but I'd say go to Total Wine or a better store (you're in Atlanta so you have access to Hop City, Green's, Ale Yeah, and a bunch more) and look up reviews before you just pick random shit. You might have a better chance of getting something good.

I like some beers with bad reviews and hate some beers with good reviews but at least you'll have a general idea ahead of time.
thanks for the help again man!
No problem

Recent haul:

4 pack - Goose Island Sofie

Mixed 6 - Wild Heaven Ode to Mercy
Terrapin Moo-Hoo
Bell's Java Stout
Shipyard Monkeyfist IPA (probably gonna suck but I was in a hurry)
New Holland the Poet Oatmeal Stout
Sierra Nevada Celebration

And my friend Morgan gave me these for free:

Bell's Expedition Stout
Duck Rabbit Milk Stout and Hoppy Bunny
Hoponius Union (IPA with a lager yeast - soooo fucking good)

A new brewery is opening in my college town tomorrow called Mayday Brewery tomorrow so I'm gonna check it out.

Brewed and bottled my 2nd beer recently. It's an all galaxy hop IPA and I'm really happy with it.

I've gotten a bunch of stuff lately:

Founders All Day IPA (6 pack)
Dogfish Head Aprihop
Founders Imperial Stout ($2.50/bottle on happy hour)
Lagunitas Censored Red Ale (^^^)

Drank a barrel aged Old Rasputin with my friend Morgan. She also gave me these rare-ish beers for free just because:

Jack's Abby Hoponius Union
Jack's Abbey RIPL
Maine Zoe
Maine Peeper Ale

I'm loving Samuel Smith's taddy caster porter. Innis and gunn is great too. Other than that, haven't really had anything too impressive lately. I can't wait until I'm 21 though and I can go to The Porter and the Brickstore Pub.

Try some Dogfish Head Aprihop if you want an apricot IPA. It's really good.

Honestly, I just messaged random people on Beeradvocate from Nashville and Atlanta and a guy in Nashville got an extra bottle for me. I gave him $20 and some homebrew. That's it. Some people are awesome on that site.

I got the 3 Floyds from a guy in my homebrew group in Tennessee. I did an IP trade and just gave him some Dogfish Head Olde School Barleywine, Sculpin, and Some Maine Peeper Ale (my friend Morgan gave this to me for free just cuz she gets crazy shit all the time - gonna have to pay her back by drinking the Hunahpu's with her) and he threw in the Pride and Joy and Daisy Cutter for free. I just got REALLY lucky that week. I usually never get stuff this good.

I'm probably gonna get to try Dark Lord on Saturday at that Brick Store event I posted. Can't wait.

Here's the beers that will be there that I hope I can get at least a small pour of:

Russian River Pliny, sours
3 Floyds - Dark Lord, Alpha Klaus, Moloko
Dark Horse Plead the 5th
Wormtown Sweet Tats Breakfast Stout
Cascade sours
Cigar City Dirac, Bohr, Church on a Hill, Imperial Sweet Stout, BBA Big Sound
Hardywood Gingerbread Stout
Alaskan Barleywine
Nugget Nectar
New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red
Surly Darkness, Bender, Five
Bruery Black Tuesday, Fruet, White Chocolate, Melange #3
Cantillon
Perennial Abraxas
Epic Big Bad Baptist
Alesmith Decadence
Heady Topper
Founders Bolt Cutter
Goose Island Night Stalker
Firestone Walker Sucaba, Wookey Jack
Hill Farmstead Everett
Eclipse
Jackie O's Oil of Aphrodite
Freemont Kentucky Dark Star, Bourbon Abominable
Eldridge Pope Coronation Brew

Probably won't get to try all of those but it will probably be the best beer day of my life. Lol.

Was just at wild wings with my dad watching the Indiana game (lol sports). I was gonna get a boulevard tank seven and a burnt hickory conductor porter on draft, but I'm afraid the Southern Tier crem brûlée stout was a little too much... Was really really good though! Had an ayinger Braun Weiss too, good stuff.
