This whole thing is Sam's fault.

Sam and I got to talking at Monster Bash and then we drank a whole lot of booze and I decided that this had to happen.

FYI - My first car was a blue '73 Squareback with a white interior (sadly without the BOC logo on the hood) and I currently own the same couch as the Chicks from Up North.Ã‚Â

I'm sure this magnificent piece dwarfs whatever you've got going on in the gallery right now. I'll wrap it up and throw it on the pile with SBG's.

Amazingly, almost all of my terrible "art" sold at the punk benefit. Huzzah! I gave a few things away at the end because I did not want that garbage coming back into my house. But the rest sold for actual American dollars!

This one thing had to come home with me. Several people told me "I want this so bad...but I have kids." Take note, folks: once you have kids, casual everyday pornography goes out the window. Or so I've been told.

Dave did something really, really dumb, but only endangered himself -- he was trying to commit suicide. Like many addicts and casualties of drugs and the drug war he needs treatment and help, not federal pound you in the ass prison. Incarcerating him for twenty years doesn't help anyone.

I felt the same way as you (I think) at first, but then learning the details of the story changed my mind. Had dude carried in a real gun in a legitimate attempt to rob and truly endangered the lives of innocents - old friend or not - I'd stand by the sentence.

Black people get fucked with max sentences for similar occurences all the time. I'm not saying the sentencing is appropriate in any way, because I don't think it is, i'm just saying its not charity. Charity is feeding the homeless or helping dogs or putting clothes on poor kids etc.. This is a personal cause.
