Slow day here at work. I still have a few local bands who I haven't seen or heard. So, I'm making this list of active local bands as a reminder to myself and hopefully to get people to check them out. I'm sure I'll miss a bunch so respond with bands and I'll add them to the original post.

So far there's around 43 active bands listed, I've got nothing else to contribute. Atlanta is doing pretty well though, I like most of the bands we have.

Metal Archives has 117 bands from Atlanta. I haven't checked, but I'm guessing that at least some of those are inactive.

EDIT: oh, and Daath.

UBERCHRIST - a new black metal band from Atlanta - just saw them a few nights ago at 529. I think it was their first show. They are playing that DRUNKEN UNICORN show with Altar of Plagues and Thou on the 24th.
