1000 before 2011

I'm not sure how well this will go over here, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

The idea for this thread comes from another forum I frequent, where it's hugely popular. There is no topic... the purpose is basically to have 1000 posts in this thread before the end of the year. I picked 1000 as a pretty easy target; our thread on the other forum is about to accomplish a goal of 150K over a year.

What usually happens is this kind of thread turns into the ultimate chat room. It's pretty much a free for all, post whatever you feel like posting, quantity over quality sort of deal. From the same single word posted over and over to intense debates to chatting about life.

Maybe this will die and end up in the depths of the forum, or just a place to visit when you're bored and have nothing to do, I don't know. But the other thread has resulted in meeting new people and forming lifelong friendships, which is why I decided to start it here. So I guess we'll see what happens.

I've been running "Albert Kagan" through an anagram generator. There's some good stuff, but nothing definite. I'll keep working on it.

I do love the mental image of Chaos with a tie on over his t-shirt, hair combed down, typing full sentences with proper punctuation.
