Wow.... If they embed music videos in the new Beavis & Butthead on MTV like in the old days, that means that MTV....might actually show music videos.

Who'd'a'thunk it?

at this point i think the videos they would show would only detract from my enjoyment of the show

Their send-ups of the videos were usually my favorite part. Also, the only time I remember actually getting to see videos from bands like Death, Morbid Angel, or Cannibal Corpse on actual television then was when Beavis and Butthead were mercilessly ragging about how stupid they sounded. I vaguely remember Beavis waxing poetic about how Chuck might make a drive-through order in his Death vocals.

i concur... but somehow i don't think the quality of "metal" on new episodes would be that high.

I bet they'll love Lamb of God, considering how much they loved Pantera.

Yeah, but for every band with a MySpace haircut and a sentence fragment for a name the amount of fodder up for derision is limitless.

Yeah, they're supposed to come back this summer. Hopefully it'll still have the music videos and be hand drawn like the good ol days.

I'll bump this old thread to ask if anyone else has see the new episode yet? It's as if the show never stopped. The exact same format, same charachters, even some of the ever familiar recycled couch scene animations. Still raggin' mercilessly on horrible videos, now with the added fodder of MTV original programing. Otherwise, it's exactly like it was which rules so hard.

Since I was deprived as a child, I watched it. Was funny.
