Welcome back! Missed you! And lol about Slim Dunkin.

I can't really think of any Atlanta bands that are good that are not metal.

I recently saw a show listing for 529 that included the lineup of "Accidents, Young Antiques, and What Happened to Your Fire Tiger." I haven't heard any of them, but Jesus Christ I bet that show was packed with ugly sweaters.

Royal Thunder's worth a solid listen. That one full length is pretty decent. Actually just been released on Relapse. Scarab, Zruda, and Telestrion (if they're still around) are all pretty interesting. Also maybe Super X-13 when they ocassionally play. Not a whole lot else comes to mind at the moment.

I definitely need to brush up on Atlanta non-metal though.

i like some of the dunkins stuff as my guilty pleasure of some rap esp that that raises up the 404 continues lol
oj da juiceman is the king though whaha

havent heard any metal releases that were reallya ny good ins ometime, so just been recyclin old shit
