But invite me over first. I'll be sitting there on the floor, drinking old e.choalla wrote:Sounds a bit high. Try to bring him down to like $300-400, then buy it, throw a RAT in front and play some motherfucking Obituary riffs.

I assume that's the Mig 50h, compact head? If so, it's one of my favorite heads that I've ever owned. But i play punk rock. My current main rig is a Sovtek 100 that i had hotrodded by Jeff Bakos so that it sounds as mean as an h and that shit sounds gnarly!
$400 is a bit high, but they are pretty hard to come by nowadays so it might still be worth it. Keep in mind the Soviets basically made those amps out of whatever spare parts were laying around so each has a unique sound.
You play in Disfigurement, right? I've seen y'all and thus model doesn't seem like it would be up your alley, but maybe I'm wrong. These amps were endorsed by ACT/DC and generally have that warm sound.
If you don't go for it, post where it is on here, please.

I wonder if I'll ever see two Sovteks that actually have the same markings...
Fucking great amps, every one I've heard.
