I wasn't drawing any conclusions, I just thought it was an interesting tidbit people would enjoy. Also, a guy who lives in Jacksonville and saw it on the news. But of course, the exclusion of all details not found relevant to one media source (who indeed define what "is" and what "is not") renders them irrelevant and, in fact, nonexistent. Hail the omniscient oligarchy of journalism.

No, it would just be less specific in one aspect and more revealing towards the relationship between the two. They're equally accurate, it's just a change of focus. Journalists do that trick all the time, adding possibly irrelevant details to make you draw conclusions yourself. Only in this case it's relevant just due to the audience--the details of the story itself aren't the focus here.
