Metal Night Every Wed. In Atlanta
We are starting a metal night at club Future in Underground Atlanta called FALLOUT, every Wed. night. D.J. Xios from the band Ground:Xero will be spinning Death, Doom, Black, Thrash, and more. It's 21+, full bar, really amazing club with t.v. walls and futuristic "Giger-esque" art. It's $3 to park in the underground parking deck $3 to get in before midnight, $5 after. Also, free ticket give a way to Kreator on the 6th at the Masquerade. We will have live bands play on later dates plus more concert ticket give a ways. Come out and help support the scene.
she asked if it would hurt I smiled and said no...

Fn Dan can tell you about it too. He's friends with the DJ. I just think it's time we had a place for people who enjoy the music to get together and hang out. We're going to have cd release partys in the future and live shows. A lot of stuff planned if we can just get people out and interested.

Yep, I'll be there this Wednesday. For those interested, the DJ will be none other than DJ XIOS. Ok...you know him, but I don't know if I'm allowed to divulge his secret identity. But then again, how many folks from Gwinnett county shove small dogs up their asses? Hmmm....on second thought, that probably didn't narrow it down any.

The Future has become the haven for The Secret Room, since the departure of the Chamber. That's just on Saturday though, but their calendar is full of other themes on other nights. I know Underground has had weak turnouts during the week (I can personally vouch for many of those, anyone remember the short-lived trivia night at Alley Cat?), so I'm hoping this night will gain some steam.bobnoxious wrote:so waht does this place do every other night? It sounds like a cool thing but Wednesdays are so middle of the week.

Yeah, Saturday nights at Future are industrial nights hosted by secretroom.net, and the other nights are random things that suck horribly. We wanted to start something good down there and I would personally love for this to grow into something substantial since there are too many gay clubs, tons of goth-y events, and well, we all know what Buckhead is about. The Highlander isn't what it used to be, so DAMN, it's about time something was done for metal heads. Yeah, it's on Wednesday but still... The club is the shit and we can have live bands play too to help support the scene.

So basically your saying there is a new metal venue in town? Get us a link so we can see what metal is coming through this place.

giger art...
The giger art in the club sounds cool... Is that like statues, or wall engravings? Just curious about this...
I think people should support this... It's good for the scene, I mean really who wants to walk into a bar or club and hear rap and hip hop ad nauseum? Industrial is another story (knowing not only myself but also Paul's penchant for the genre) but I think this would be a rather unique club in the Atlanta area... Don't the rest of you?
